Lost and Found

Dear People,

The other day I wrote a post about my Day of Crisis in which everything went missing. I had an experience yesterday which felt like the reverse situation: I found something!

Last year I found a great sweater at the Corinthian Co-op*. I was perfect. It looked vinatge-y, but was also a gorgeous shade of bright turmeric yellow. I soon lost it, but yesterday I found myself (haha) at the college's Lost and Found sale...and there it was!

I lose so many things. Not just objects like my wallets and phone and ID, but also friends. Every time I travel back and forth to the Czech Republic I feel as though I am losing my Czech friends again. When people graduate and move on I feel like I am losing them too.

Finding my sweater was a small thing. But it gave me such joy in this week of lost things to find something. Also, I forgot to tell you that on the day I lost my ID I got an email from the person who found it and was reunited with my ID that very evening.

I decided to illustrate my sweater saga. Enjoy!

Love,
Lucy Rose

*The Corinthian Co-op is a wonderful place where people from the school donate their discarded things and anyone may take them for free. It is run by the Wheaton College Women's Club. The ladies volunteer to make the basement room organised and efficient. It is a huge gift. Thank you, WCWC!
